The new Micro Focus Community beta version went live on January 20th – a day chosen to coincide with the Visual COBOL R3 release to drive discussion and debate.

Over 400 people signed up within the first four days, and there are already a number of articles, discussions and blog posts across all areas of the Micro Focus offering – including Visual COBOL, Silk, Caliber, Modernization Workbench and Education Services among others.

We’re also inviting people to submit product reviews. And for a limited time, every published review of the trial download of Visual COBOL R3 will earn its writer a Visual COBOL R3 t-shirt and the writer of the best review will win a LiveScribe Echo pen.

The Community gives you a platform to engage with fellow users, Micro Focus product experts and the wider Micro Focus community.  It’s currently a beta version and users are encouraged to provide feedback on what they would like to see improved. Why not visit the site, engage with the discussions and share your knowledge and opinions?
