Diversity and Inclusion Advances the Way We Work

At Micro Focus, we believe in the power of a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve, and as the 7th largest software company in the world we have a responsibility to lead in that area. Given this, I am incredibly excited to share that Micro Focus has been recognized by Mogul as one of its 2017 Top 100 Innovators in Diversity and Inclusion.  Mogul publishes this list to recognize those companies that hire diverse talent, create welcoming environments and communities for employees and contribute to society in meaningful ways.

Mogul determines its list by looking at minority representation in top leadership roles, support and resources for employees and social contribution within the organization. Micro Focus is proud to be recognized for achievement in these areas. Additionally, in its release of the list, Mogul referenced our Micro Focus Charity Committee. This committee supports active contribution towards the development of the community by providing an annual budget for employees to be used on a funds-matching basis, employee-days per month to be used for activities benefiting a charity, and local sponsorships of sports, music clubs and school teams.

Supporting diversity is not just something that I want Micro Focus to say, it’s about what we do. A focus on inclusion and diversity helps us keep and attract the best team members, better understand the needs of customers, drive new business and fuels our customer centric approach to innovation. It makes a difference in the workplace, marketplace, and community — advancing the way we live and work.  We will continue to support the Charity Committee and other programs that help us build, grow and support a diverse workplace and we will continue to be an advocate for diversity in the world of technology.
